That's not easy, given the gap between his knowledge and mine, since no doctor can spend all day with one patient. I appreciate his calm, gentle demeanor, and I know I am in good hands with him and his team. One negative comment about the practice in the upper office: more vigilance could be paid to proper mask-wearing by staff, even those handling phone calls. The entire practice including the surgery center is loaded with caring professionals, who take their job seriously while showing kindness at every step. When approaching these procedures, most patients, myself included (even after two previously over the years) are naturally uncomfortable, however from the first interaction with staff, through the staging, during and after the procedure and recovery, I was made to feel very extremely comfortable, especially with the warmed blankets! When he was notified that I was hospitalized due to bleeding he came right over to speak to me and my husband and let us know what would have to be done if it didn't stop. Fortunately it did stop. Although Dr. Harry doubted my knowledge & ability to diagnose myself with mono, he agreed to have me tested for the mono virus. The test results came back that I was exposed & had the mono virus before in my system, but that I was no longer sick with it. Dr. Harry was gonna fwd. the lab results onto my pcp for further analysis as to what’S still affecting me.

Dr Shephard took the time to really listen to my "complaints" of what I am experiencing. Where another doctor said I shouldn't be overly concerned with a test result, he said that when something is elevated it's important to be concerned.

My 90-year-old father is the patient. We have been seen promptly at every visit (no more than 2-3 minutes in the waiting room and no more than 5 minutes waiting for doc once in the exam room). Dr. Shephard took the time to clearly explain test results, evaluate options, and consider my father's entire health situation before recommending treatment.

DDC is accurate and should be used for all your DNA testing needs honestly great experience with this company and staff at the lab I was sent to .

The office personnel is very nice at the Oviedo and Maitland; the nurses provide excellent care and Dr. Sheppard has excellent bed manners. I felt very comfortable in his care.
